“We know we can’t breakdance our way out of poverty, but with breakdancing you feel that you can do anything.”

Watch “The Real Hip-Hop,” a short documentary from The Guardian created by American rapper, NAS with director Adam Sjoberg. The short video tours through Uganda, Yemen, Cambodia, and Colombia, “where hip-hop really means something.”

The video was created as part of a longer documentary, “Shake the Dust,” which you can learn more about here.
