Judith Marcuse Projects (JMP) is looking for Board Members!

April 8, 2019 by ICASC News /

Judith Marcuse Projects Society (JMP) — now in its 39th year of operations and partnered with SFU in the globally-recognized International Centre of Art for Social Change (ICASC.ca) — is an arts organization and pioneer in the field of community-engaged art for social change. We are looking for new board members who bring diverse backgrounds, experience, and skills to our work, especially in communications, fundraising, social innovation and/or networking strategies. We are a small, dynamic and effective organization and seek individuals whose passion for art and social change will help to carry our work forward at an exciting time in our evolution!

About the Board and What is Next: We have a small, stable and committed board. We carry no deficit and hold reserves in a rainy day fund. JMP works across Canada and internationally. Now completing a six-year, multi-million dollar research project, we are soon going to: launch two major national initiatives (a mentorship program and the creation of branch hubs); reframe our communications strategies; and launch our new, three-year strategic plan. For more information on where we are going next, please read our Strategic Plan!
