EAST Animating Democracy, is Scarborough Arts’ newest program for youth that aims to explore and call into attention the many urgent issues experienced by youth in our neighbourhoods and communities — whether it be poverty, homelessness, youth unemployment, accessibility, homophobia, racism, etc. Using the medium of photography and documentary, the youth will animate their issue/s of choice with the guidance and mentorship of professionals.
