"FIELDWORKS is a short documentary series presented by A Blade of Grass that explores the beauty, rigor, and impact of socially engaged art." Watch the trailer for Season 1 below:

The seven short films follow Mel Chin (Operation Paydirt)Brett Cook (Reflections Of Healing), Pablo Helguer (Liberia Donceles)Fran Ilich (Diego De La Vega Coffee Co-op)Jan Mun (Greenpoint Bioremediation Project)SexEd – Norene Leddy & Liz Slagus (Wearing Consent), and Jody Wood (Beauty in Transition).

A Blade of Grass is a New York-based organization nurturing socially engaged art. Their About Us page states, "We provide resources to artists who demonstrate artistic excellence and serve as innovative conduits for social change. We evaluate the quality of work in this evolving field by fostering an inclusive, practical discourse about the aesthetics, function, ethics and meaning of socially engaged art that resonates within and outside the contemporary art dialogue."
