The success of Art Advocacy relies a lot on the support from the federal government. “Arts Day on the Hill” helps connect artists, arts workers, arts service organizations, and national arts service organizations with MP’s and Senators. This year, on October 2nd at Ottawa, Arts Day on the Hill will help Arts Advocates and MP’s discuss how the federal government can better support the Arts and Culture sector in the future. The meeting will be preceded by a training webinar for all participating arts delegates. The delegates will work on providing a short list of recommendations (put together by the arts community) for the federal government in terms of their future budget and platform.
The deadline to register for Arts Day is September 19th, 2018 at 11:59pm ET.
