"Friends, colleagues, and strangers interested in the power of art, authentic dialogue and social change. Yes, the yearly training workshops continue!"

Theatre for Living has worked in more than 600 communities throughout BC and across the world and with numerous First Nations over the last 37 years. Evolving from Brazilian Director Augusto Boal's "Theatre of the Oppressed", they have won numerous awards and are regarded as “a world leader in developing community-specific theatre.”

Between August 12 to August 17, the Theatre for Living is offering a six-day intensive training for anyone interested in incorporating “the language of the theatre” in their daily vocabulary.  The workshop will train participants in the techniques of Theatre for Living by working with them subjectively. “Be prepared to use your own life experiences as someone who works, or is interested in working, 'in community' as subject matter.”

Level one is full, but they are taking names for the waitlist.
Level two is still open for registration.
